This entire month we have really been studying bugs. The students have gotten really good at saying the English names of the bugs and are able to describe the bugs well. We have gone on an adventure to find bugs, played bug games, and now finally we created bugs. The students made a bug house on the bookshelf in the main lobby. Each student really took the time to create the bug they loved the most. They created a ladybug, beetle, butterfly, bee, grasshopper, and a spider out of different materials. Then the students created a nice sunny day with a rainbow in the back and small tree for the bugs to live on. They are very proud of their work. Now when we go walking if the students see a bug they call out the English word for the bug. They are looking forward to learning something new next month.
